If you’re looking for optimal growth in a short amount of time, this course is perfect for you. Through our modules you will gain a deeper understanding of eating disorders and the different treatment options for your child. You also will learn skills to communicate with your child and increase their motivation to change and ultimately choose recovery. Due to high demand, we’ve recently added many new classes to ensure there’s an option for everyone. Our modules provide not only information but practical exercises that will help you be a better equipped parent to handle your child's recovery.
Your Instructor
Carolina is co-founder of The Food & Mood Institute, LLC. As an experienced psychotherapist and Instructor, she has been an integral part of the development of our programs. She has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults who struggle with eating disorders and other concerns related to food and negative body image. Carolina also specializes in the treatment of trauma and addictions. Carolina firmly believes that full recovery from eating disorders is possible when individuals and their families are provided with the right type of treatment, education, and support.
By learning more skills, you can help your child feel more in control of her or his emotions and reactions. You will model healthy behaviors and gain more awareness of your own emotions to better support your child and be the ally he or she needs in thier recovery.
